When Holiday and Hunter got invited to their first play date, I was a little bit worried. I know that my kids would behave but I really can't tell if their playmates will. So, Jayson and I decided that I should accompany them just to make sure that everything will be fine. As we entered our friend's house, I was amazed by how confident Hunter was, peeping through the door and greeting everyone a Good Morning! As usual, Holiday hid behind me for almost 30 mins of being there. The other kids were of different nationalities, German-South African, Australian-Papuan, Chinese-Papuan, and they don't seem to have the same language. It's surprising how kids just get along even with a language barrier. I wish it was that easy for adults as well.
After some getting used to, they were off. It was a good day of playing and discovering new things. They had a lot of fun showing from their sweaty heads and shirts.
